Facility Conference, Training & Room Hire
An accessible friendly environment to hold your meetings or training events.
We offer Room Hire facilities at both the Beechdale Lifelong Learning Centre and The Hive Community Hub. Room Hire is perfect for Meetings, Training Conferences and Group Activities, but we do not hire the rooms out for any type of sporting activiy or celebration parties.
Some of the rooms are most suited to certain room setups than other rooms and the capacity differs for the number of people to be seated comfortably.
Our caretaking staff will setup rooms to suit the audience and purpose. If you need any guidance on this, our caretaking staff are more than willing to assist you. Also, we can store training equipment an materials in advance of your event, if you need this just ask, we are happy to help.
The Hive Hub
Board Room (565sq ft.) – £10 per hour
- The Boardroom comes with a short throw projector to use free of charge.
- Our projector accepts HDMI and VGA connections.
- Hirers must bring their own laptop to link up to the projector.
- Audio speakers can be added the booking free of charge.
- We can supply telephone numbers for caterers if required.
Added Extras
Flip chart and Paper £5 per booking.
Refreshments – Half day £1.80 per person/ Full day £2.50 per person.
Refreshments include Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Water & Squash as standard.
The Beechdale Centre
Training Room 1 (932sq ft.) – £18 per hour
- Training Room 1 comes with a short throw projector, screen and audio speakers to use free of charge.
- Our projector accepts HDMI and VGA connections.
- Hirers must bring their own laptop to link up to the projector.
- Public free WIFI may be available.
- We can supply telephone numbers for caterers if required.
Training Room 1 Added Extras
Flip chart and Paper £5 per booking.
Refreshments – Half day £1.80 per person/ Full day £2.50 per person.
Refreshments include Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Water and Squash as standard.
Club Room (1453sq ft.) – £20 per hour
- The Club Room comes with a ceiling mounted projector, screen and audio speakers to use free of charge.
- Our projector accepts HDMI connections.
- Hirers must bring their own laptop to link up to the projector.
- Public free WIFI may be available.
- We can supply telephone numbers for caterers if required.
Club Room Added Extras

Main Hall (1822sq ft.) – £20 per hour
- The Main Hall comes with a short throw projector, portable screen to use free of charge.
- The short throw projector accepts HDMI and VGA connections.
- Hirers must bring their own laptop to link up to the projector.
- Public free WIFI may be available.
- We can supply telephone numbers for caterers if required
- One off charge of £25 maybe applied for setting up room for large bookings.

Our LOCATIONS
We currently deliver our provision across three locations within the areas of benefit. We currently operate the Beechdale Lifelong Learning Centre, Dudley Fields Youth Centre and The Hive Community Hub.
Beechdale Lifelong Learning Centre
Providing programmes to adults and young people including leisure courses and youth provision activities, also offering room hire facilities and an in-house day nursery.

Providing positive activities to young people including a youth club allowing young people to make new friends while learning new skills, we also offer a tots session.

Providing community activities for adults, a youth club, parents and tots group, school uniform recycling, meeting room hire and also an in-house community library.

Room HIRE
We currently offer a room hire facility at 2 of our current locations, perfect for Meetings, Training, Conferences and Group Activities, and depending upon the intended use, can cater up to a capacity of 80 people, where the rooms can be setup in advance to suit your preferred layout.
